WELCOME to the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) forums.
In here you will see and hopefully contribute to a range of small-business-related discussions. We will also have blog entries from key people in the FSB to help inform you of progress in their particular parts of the organisation.
We hear a lot today about "networking" - something that always sound a little contrived. Anyone who's been around long enough will know that the modern way to make contacts is to get in there and help rather than giving the hard sell which puts many folk off.
W
e intend using the forums to promote all sections of the FSB, including Policy, Member Services, recruitment, our twin publications of First Voice and Business Network, National Conference, Gold Club and more. But these are YOUR forums -
that is where you, as members and activists, come in. So, what are we looking for? That's simple, subjects which you feel would be helpful to other members - anything that is that is helpful, that is not libelous. If you see people writing in with problems - please help. We're all in this recession together and we all know how lonely running a small business can be. The FSB forums are a place to ask questions and seek answers.
We're not pre-moderating the forums but they are checked regularly for content that undermines our rules (see left menu) - and we'll be ruthless with advertising, negativity and bad behaviour - Forums will be moderated regularly and the moderators reserve the right to withdraw any thread without entering into a debate with the originator. We want these forums to be a place that small business owners can go in and feel confident to visit and contribute, so please, get clicking!
Note: FSB members should log into our website www.fsb.org.uk before coming here in order to gain FSB member status.
